    Bryan Popejoy is one of the world’s leading striking coaches. The Boxing Works head instructor and owner regularly coaches numerous high level fighters from Muay Thai, Kickboxing and MMA at his Los Angeles based gym on a daily basis. Bryan first took over the Boxing Works gym from its original owners way back in 1997 and has been a part of the California Muay Thai scene now for nearly three decades. He was one of the first US fighters to compete in IFMA, winning gold in 2000. In 2001 he retired from active competition to concentrate solely on coaching, and since then has had notable success with many world class athletes.
