This could not really be classed as a tutorial as it is so much more than that – go to Youtube for your combo of the week type things; this gives so much more depth as a base for combat sports which enables the rest to be implemented on top of it. I think on first glance, it could be easily overlooked as not teaching that much and I dare say not being seen as that useful, but the more you watch it, the more you understand it, the more you realise the fundamental base and system this provides you with which makes the possibilities for improvement and adding in the extra aspects infinite. This is certainly not a tutorial that you buy and all of a sudden you’ve got new moves to dominate in the ring.. you gotta do your homework and put in your rounds. Great energy and pace in delivering this, it’s obvious how much you like to teach, Barry!

4.5 stars because for 5, my constructive criticism is:

I’d love to see Barry demonstrate more rounds. The student did very well, and having someone completely new to the system was certainly a good idea as it showed us the mistakes beginners of the system are likely to make so we learnt a lot from that in this demonstration but seeing Barry do more of the correct and perfected technique would be useful.

Aerial filming to capture the footwork would have been fantastic..

Very happy with my first warrior collective purchase. Look forward to investing in more. Thanks for putting this together, Stuart, Barry and Billy.

This instructional is a must for educating your feet for combat sports. Once you see the instructional you will see these concepts in every single combat sports. It is crazy that no one has pointed it out before. Once you see it you won’t believe that no one ever told you about it when you were learning. The best thing about this was that I stopped getting hit in sparring after drilling this consistently and it made training a whole lot more enjoyable and safe for me.
