When people look to learn how to punch harder and with better technique, they often look to Boxing.  When fighters want to kick higher and faster for their particular striking based sport, they go to Taekwondo.

However, in order to learn good habits that be utilised in any combat sport, they must seek out a coach or athlete who understands both high level full contact Taekwondo and how to translate it to disciplines such as Muay Thai, MMA and Kickboxing.

This is where UFC veteran and Team USA Olympic TKD athlete James Moontasri comes in.

James Moontasri

James was also a silver medalist at the 2007 Pan American Games in taekwondo, 2007 USA Tae Kwon Do Male Athlete of the Year, and 2 x USA Tae Kwon Do National Champion.

He holds the rank of Brown Belt in Jiu Jitsu from Franklin Aguirre and Brandon Bender (James received his Blue Belt and Purple Belt from John Machado).
